Kotlin Multiplatform Live Guest Queue Blueprint
This is a product blueprint, not a copy/paste tutorial. Use
com.mediasfu:mediasfu-sdk:1.0.5 and MediasfuWebinar for a shared
Android/Apple-target live room with an audience and selected presenters. The
supplied room includes pre-join, presenter and audience media, participant and
request surfaces, chat, polls, screen sharing, and exit.
Build request cards and host labels in your target UI; keep admission and presenter authority on the authenticated backend. Display a guest as on-stage only after confirmed room state, not after a local tap. Start with the Kotlin SDK guide and secure room lifecycle.
Keep reusable Cloud credentials off all clients. Restricted, revocable local credentials are for isolated development only; backend authorization is required before external testing or release.
Build and validate
- Test a host, audience member, and requested guest on each shipping target.
- Preserve pending requests through reconnect and explain denied requests.
- Keep audience participation available when presentation approval fails.
- On exit, remove queue entries, app timers, observers, and cached authority.
The SDK does not provide your product's admission notifications, queue policy, or recording archive.
